Sabrina Shapiro, PT, DPT

Sabrina Shapiro is local to the DMV, where she was born and raised in Takoma Park MD. She studied classical Ballet at the Washington School of Ballet before earning her undergraduate degree from Marymount Manhattan College where she double majored in dance and biology. She has danced professionally in New York, Washington DC, and Israel and has over 10 years of experience teaching Pilates.
Sabrina is also a graduate of George Washington University Doctoral Program in Physical Therapy. As a PT, Sabrina has trained extensively in women’s health, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pre and post-natal rehabilitation, in addition to treating, the neck, back, shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles. She has more recently added the Gyrotonic method to her repertoire of skills.
