This program is a time commitment so we ask you to make sure you are committed and interested.
There is no application process. To get started, we just need a short statement from you about why you want to be a Gyrotonic instructor and send it to frontdesk@elementscenter.com.
Here’s an overview of the steps involved and what’s included at no charge in the training process:

60 hours of teaching hours as an apprentice. Once can charge for these sessions and they can be done at any gym or studio that has Gyrotonic equipment.
The final step is the Final certificate 3 day course. This is not included in the program. We hope by this point you are earning money teaching the Gyrotonic method. The course fee is $525 and the studio fee is $325 for a total of $850. Most studios offer a discounted studio fee for Beyond Elements students.
The entire process typically takes 6-12 months to complete.

How To Become A GYROTONIC® Trainer
The GYROTONIC® Method Level 1 Final Certification course is offered twice per year. This 3-day course is the final step in becoming a certified GYROTONIC® exercise trainer. In order to take this course, the following pre-requisites must be met:
- Successful completion of Level 1 Pre-training course, Foundations course, and Apprentice Review.
- The Master Trainer overseeing your Supervised Apprentice Review Course must sign and date your Apprentice Log Sheet, including the last page giving “final approval” to take the Final Certificate Course.
- Your Apprentice Log Sheet must show the minimum requirement of 60 completed teaching hours.
- You must present your Apprentice Log Sheet at registration on the first day of the Final Certificate Course. DO NOT mail the Apprentice Log Sheet!

How To Become A GYROKINESIS® Trainer
The GYROKINESIS® Exercise Level 1 Final Certification course is offered two to three times per year. This 3-day course is the final step in becoming a certified GYROKINESIS® Trainer Level 1.
- The Master Trainer overseeing your Supervised Apprentice Review Course must sign and date your Apprentice Log Sheet, including the last page of the log sheet giving your “final approval” to take the Final Certificate Course.
- Your Apprentice Log Sheet must show the minimum requirement of 30 completed teaching hours.
- You must present your Apprentice Log Sheet to the Master Trainer at registration on the first day of the Final Certificate Course. DO NOT mail the Apprentice Log Sheet!
If you are going to exceed your 1-year Apprentice Period by the time a Final Certification course becomes available, you must e-mail Sarah Simpson (sarah@gyrotonic.com) to request an extension. Her approval for the extension is required before you are able to register for the course.
Upon completion of the Final Certification Course, participants will be able to successfully demonstrate the principles and exercises from the GYROKINESIS® Level I Foundation Course syllabus, in addition to applying the appropriate verbal cues and physical guidance to support students.
