FAQs for Elements Center

Do you accept Medicare?

We accept Medicare Part B only.  You will need to bring a prescription for physical therapy from your doctor as well as your Medicare card to your initial evaluation appointment.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payment is due at time of service by cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, and Medicare Part B.

Will my physical therapy session be covered by insurance?

Coverage and benefits information can only be determined by your provider.  Elements will provide a printed statement for you to submit independently.

What kind of parking is available?

There is a paid parking lot located behind the building.  Elements does not stamp or discount parking.  Zoned street and metered parking is also available on Wisconsin and surrounding side streets.

What happens if the building is locked and I have a scheduled appointment/class?

The building doors automatically lock at 5:30pm, Monday-Friday and remained locked throughout the weekend.  If you have an evening or weekend session, please call the front desk at 202-333-5252 and we'll send someone to let you in.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes!  Elements Center gift certificates are a popular holiday gift!  Choose your amount or purchase a package for a friend.

How can I book an appointment?

Appointments and classes can be booked online, in person, or by calling the front desk.  Initial physical therapy evaluations and follow ups must be scheduled over the phone or in-person.  Private sessions for Gyrotonic(R) exercise and Pilates, along with classes can be booked through our MindBodyOnline system  

What is your cancellation policy?

Elements adheres to a strict cancellation policy.  We require 48-hour cancellation notice for physical therapy appointments or any private sessions with a physical therapist.  We require 24-hour cancellation notice for all other appointments and classes.  Please e-mail This email address is being protected from spambots.
